A truck camper is a self-contained RV unit that mounts onto the bed of a pickup truck. Truck campers do not require towing and allow you to bring an RV setup wherever your truck can go, including off-road and backcountry locations.

What size truck do I need for a truck camper?

Most truck campers require a full-size pickup truck with a long bed or short bed depending on the camper model. Payload capacity is the most important factor. Your truck's payload rating must exceed the camper's wet weight (loaded with water, propane, and gear). Does Fraserway RV sell truck campers?

Yes. Most truck campers have removable jacks that allow you to detach the camper and set it on the ground at your campsite, freeing your truck for day trips.
