Sometimes, nothing compares to classic camp food. This is where convenience meets comfort!
We like this recipe because it is very versatile when camping. You can serve it with biscuits or hot dogs for lunch, or serve it with ribs or burgers for supper – or just enjoy it on its own!
Also, if you are camping and do not have electricity, you can always simmer on top of the stove.
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 28oz cans of pork and beans
- 1 can of pineapple (crushed or tidbits), drained
- 12 slices of chopped bacon, fried
Add all ingredients to your crock pot and cook for 3-4 hours on low heat. Serve up and enjoy!
