Campgrounds during the winter season are generally less crowded. If you are looking for some quiet time close to nature, RVing may be the way to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your RV will be a cabin on wheels, and it will allow you to explore Canada\u2019s glorious winter wonderland!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winter Camping in an RV: Know before you go<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Return to the comfort of your RV after a day of winter activities and turn on the propane-operated furnace to keep you warm for the evening. Because of the colder winter temperatures, all of our rental RVs will be winterized and if you own it\u2019s recommended you do the same \u2013 pending the type of unit you own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winterizing an RV means there will be no running water on board and the toilet and shower facilities inside the vehicle cannot be used, therefore it is important to book your stay at one of the many private campgrounds with electrical hookups and washroom facilities open in the winter season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though some features of your RV will be impacted by colder temperatures compared to RVing during warmer months, your hotel-on-wheels will bring you closer than ever to a whole new world of adventures!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book Your Campgrounds in Advance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Is your RV winterized (no water on board), staying at campgrounds with electrical hook-ups as well as washroom and shower facilities may be your first choice. While the majority of campgrounds, private or provincial, are only open during the summer months, there are options in the winter months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
