ALBERTA RV DEALERS EXTEND CAMPAIGN EFFORTS BY ONE WEEK TO MEET TARGET FOR FLOOD RELIEF
ALBERTA, CANADA – One month after the worst flooding in Southern Alberta’s history, the campaign by four Alberta RV dealers to raise $300,000 to help displaced residents will be held over until July 27, 2013.
Collectively, the dealers have already raised over $230,000, but spokesman James Epp says the original goal still stands, and the fundraiser will continue for another five days.
“We set our goal, and we intend to reach it. Extending the campaign to raise the funds is the natural thing to do, and we believe we can make it happen,” explains Epp.
During the past four weeks, $1,000 from every RV sold at the four like-minded Alberta RV dealers – Fraserway RV Calgary, Fraserway RV Edmonton, Lacombe RV, and Roadmaster RV in Leduc – has been collected for donation to the non-profit organizations Samaritan's Purse Canada or Canadian Red Cross, who are working to help restore communities affected by June’s flooding.
Together, we can help those in need.
