2014 marked the 45th anniversary of Fraserway RV. Looking back, a lot has changed in Fraserway’s history. At the same time, much has remained the same.
Back in 1969, my father started Fraserway RV Camper Manufacturing in Abbotsford. There were just five employees at the company, which manufactured truck campers and truck canopies. The whole family pitched in and worked evenings and weekends, and slowly we built the company.
My father would often remind us of his motto, “Never satisfied until good is better and better is best!” It’s not like we weren’t building a good unit, but he always challenged us to try and do better.
It was incredible to observe Dad's vision and passion for the RV industry, and then embrace it as my own when my wife and I took ownership of the company in 1983. My three sons grew up with Fraserway, and one now holds a leadership role in the company.
Our family has been involved with the RV experience for decades – travelling across Canada in an RV, seeing God’s beautiful creation and meeting wonderful people. Our consistent dedication to quality products, our employees and meeting the needs of customers since 1969 has enabled us to grow as a company and become Canada’s favourite RV dealership – as well as the largest one, with locations from coast to coast. That’s because innovation, creativity and quality have always been the focus. Today, we still hold to my dad’s belief that our best ideas come from our customers.
So, why do we do what we do at Fraserway? Honestly, we do it because we care. We may be Canada’s only national RV dealership, but our heart has always been in our communities. We support local charities and organizations, take part in community events and hire employees who will best represent Fraserway’s heritage.
I’m confident that you, too, will love the RV experience and everything that comes with it. I invite you to consider Fraserway as your vehicle to adventure, and we will do everything possible to ensure your vacation dreams are realized.
